Has IPL really helped in removing sledgings from cricket?

Recently, India cricket team ODI and T20 captain MS Dhoni said in an TV interview that IPL has helped in wiping out sledging and swearing from the gentleman's game of cricket.

Because of so many foreign nationals playing in every IPL franchise, cricketers from around the world get a rare chance to know each other and understand each other so well by staying close to each other's company. Sledging in today's cricket, in MS Dhoni's words, has become a friendly comedy and that's all.

Do you think so? Has IPL really helped in removing or adding spices to sledging of cricket? If we turn pages of IPL sledging history till date, then we will see Harbhajan Singh's infield slap to S Sreesanth, the famous Gautam Gambhir - Virat Kohli spat, Mitchell Starc - Kieron Pollard mutual bowling at each other ;)!(Kieron threw His bat at Starc actually:)) and others. Do you  think these are sledging removers or accelerators? Sorry Mahi, I disagree with some points with you. You are definitely right to a decent extent. But I strongly believe IPL has added spices and boosted the degree of sledging in the cricket field.
