10 best reasons to make Yoga as a compulsory Degree subject in Indian Universities

I was surfing the daily news feed and my eyes stumbled upon a shocking one: JNU rejected to accept Yoga as a subject of University Degrees. Why? Is there shortage of professional yoga teachers or trainers in India? Do you think it is not possible for everyone to become Baba Ramdev? Absolutely no, there is a solid chance for everyone to learn some yoga trances and thereby develop physical fitness to the next level.

Let's point out some solid reasons as to why India should include Yoga as a compulsory subject in its University syllabie:

1. Yoga can heal some formidable diseases in no time.

2. If there can be a separate gymnastics class in colleges/Universities, then why there can not be a special yoga class in educational institutions of India?

3. If there can be separate playing education teacher (PET), then why there can not be a special Yoga teacher to teach Yoga step by step.

4. If we can observe international day of Yoga every year, then why can't there be a International Degree subject on Yoga in Indian Universities?

5. If foreigners can come to India and practice yoga to get remedy to their chronic diseases, then why can't we Indians learn from Yoga classes everyday?

6. Regularly practicing yoga can balance blood circulation, blood pressure, blood sugar level, heal anaemic weaknesses and moreover, keep you fit and ready for any kind of work.

7. Regular practice of yoga helps in boosting your concentration and thinking power.

8. Yoga is natural, no higher financial expense study yet giving multiple rich dividends at once.

9. Yoga is India's identity. That is, yoga has originated from India, so why do we neglect or leave in schooling it?

10. Since UN has passed PM Modi's request to observe International Yoga Day every year around the globe, I am sure if Government of India makes a mandate of 'International Yoga Studies' or 'International Degree on Yoga' in all of the Indian Universities syllabi, then other nations will also come forward and join hands together.

Yoga Guru Baba Ramadev has already been teaching all of yoga asanas with physical movements step by step in his ashram at Haridwar. He has also been making Yoga campaigns in various cities if India and the world on public's interest. Baba Ramadev's yoga classes have finally taken a shape of revolution amongst real science and health concerned educated people. Then, a definite need arises to make yoga as a school/college/university degree subject.
