Maruti Baleno's official launching date in India is 26th, October 2015. But if you are a Maruti lover and specially planning to buy Baleno, you can make your prebooking with a payment of INR 11,000 as Maruti Suzuki India Limited has declared Baleno's advance bookings open through Maruti's Nexa range of outlets.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno is going to be the second model car to be sold through Nexa outlets, the first being Maruti S-Cross which was released in August' 2015. Baleno is counted amongst Maruti's top fuel efficient cars with continuous variable transmission. This is because it has dual engines - both petrol and diesel.
Key features and technical specification of Maruti Suzuki Baleno 2015 - 2016
1. It has 1.2 ltr K-series petrol engine developing 83.1 bhp and 115 Nm of torque.
2. 1.3 ltr DDiS diesel engine of 73.9 bhp and 190 Nm of torque.
3. Diesel gets 5 speed manual and petrol gets 5 speed manual + a CVT gear box.
4. The fuel efficiency delivery of Maruti Baleno's petrol engine is 21.4 kmpl and that of the diesel engine is 27.3 kmpl.
