It is a tradition in India to perform Vastu Pooja for the
newly made homes. But the modern day people think, is Vastu Puja really
essential for the newly built homes or it is simply a mythology? Does Vastu
Puja have real effects for new homes? If you have issues/queries like this,
then read this article to know more about Indian Vastu Pooja and its
effectiveness here.
India is the land of Vedic culture and scriptures. From
ancient times, people have been practicing the ‘Vastu Poojan’ with
systematic steps by a worthy and pure Brahmin. The notion behind this is
that such ritualistic activities, if done with simplicity and purity, remove
all the burdens, problems or inauspiciousnesses which may arise in future. Is
this a fact or myth?
Well, I am an Indian and I am a strong believer of the Vedic
encyclopedia and its conclusions. Hence, there is no need to say that I believe
in the practice of Vastu Puja for new homes. But the question is how
does this ritualistic activity become so powerful and effective? One simple
answer is – 100% belief, purity and interest in performing Vastu poojan. There
is no solid evidence till date to rate it as a superstitious activity or
practice. The best positive evidence about vastu puja is that even modern day highly
educated delegates in India perform vastu poojan before shifting to new flats
or residences.
The main fact and meaning of Vastu Pooja is to worship
the Vastu Purushas or Vastu Gods and the ashta-dikapalas [the lords of the
eight directions – four main and four corners] and satisfy them so that you
will never be moved by the obstacles and impediments in your future life. This
is as per the traditional Hindu astrology [or you say mythology]. It removes
all kinds of negative energy and forces from your residential campus and lets
the positive forces come in so that all auspicious symptoms will always keep
you successful in your activities. If you follow the vastu principles strictly,
you will definitely experience these factors; otherwise there is no reason to
blaspheme it. So, my final word is ‘Yes’. Vastu pooja is really essential for
newly made homes, be it in India or anywhere else.
