When it comes to Tamilnadu politics, leftist parties have ruled over decades and definitely, a greater positive change is due and expected in the forthcoming Assembly opinion polls 2026. The list of all political parties like DMK, AIADMK, CPI, NTK, INC, BJP etc. is expected to increase if anything in terms alliance happens.

BJP has never won majority in Tamilnadu till date. Despite PM Narendra Modi's valiant efforts in public campaign rallies, BJP failed in 2021. There have been 12 Chief Ministers(identity wise); 3 times to INC, 8 times to DMK and 12 times to AIADMK(Tenure wise) with 4 presidential rules in 1976-77, 1980, 1989 & 1991 till date.
