Will the 'Mahagathbandhan' policy work for SP and BSP in UP assembly elections 2017?

Taking good lessons from the timely union of local Janata parties of Bihar for the state's assembly election poll 2015 as their key strategy, the present Samajwadi Party (SP) government of UP is gearing up for their next assembly polls campaign in 2017 with equal thoughts if they want to defeat oppositions like BJP in same manner.

Everyone knows about the friendly relationships of Congress and SP. However, since 2014 loksabha polls, Congress was sidelined by most of its allied parties. Hence, if both these parties are at all strategizing for UP assembly elections 2017, they will have to sit down for a cool discussion for sorting out their misunderstandings and make ally again.

It is here to be noted that parties like BSP has also withdrawn its support to Congress since 2014 general election polls. But as the UP assembly polls 2017 gets closer day by day, it might consider applying the 'Mahagathbandhan' policy with SP and Congress as well to overcome NDA.
