BJP's goodwill has definitely seen a downfall after Modi government's lacklustre performance in black money campaign, minimizing prices of daily consumer goods etc. However, time is not yet over if we consider the weightage and process involved in these projects. It is also a fact that Modi govt. has been constantly making good efforts to stabilize the Indian economy. As a result of PM Modi's successful foreign visits, India's FDI volume has increased to great extent and India's global FDI ranking has improved from 70+ to 55. Moreover, Modi's active social media involvement has lured the youths and especially, swachh bharat abhiyan has set a new character of BJP.
However, BJP will face a lot of challenges in Bihar polls 2015 because of two solid reasons. Firstly, the 'Mahagathbandan' of all Janata parties like RJD and JDU will give a tough fight and secondly, orthodox speakers like Lalu Prasad Yaadav, although he is not standing and taking aprt in elections, will pay every inch in delivering solid answers and arguments in poll preaching campaign in comparison to Modi.
As per my point of view, BJP's strategy should be to be ready for a sudden ally with third party to which offers mutual agreement unless BJP gets majority.
